Welcome to the NRU " Ruck and Maul Golf Club "
A group of rugger's, business people and supporters get together to enjoy each others company, meet new friends and contacts and enjoy a day of golf. Getting together to create awareness of this great sport, the 3rd most televised sport in the world and now an Olympic sport from 2017, the 7 a side version, quick, fast and exciting, played on a regular sized field with only 7 players on each side. This version of the game shows off the players skills and fitness....BUT LETS GET BACK TO GOLF.
We want to grow the sport of rugby in Reno Nevada, especially at high school level. The cost is not as high as other sports, but clubs do need funds to purchase rugby jerseys for the team, balls and equipment and this is where the Ruck and Maul Golf Club comes in......all proceeds will go to promoting high school rugby in Reno.
